ENERGY STAR®
- UL Solutions is an EPA-Recognized Certification Body (can certify and upload models to the ENERGY STAR website) and has ENERGY STAR-certified laboratories around the world.
- ENERGY STAR is a program run by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that provides tighter regulation of energy and water conservation standards than that required by the DOE.
Promote your energy efficiency credentials
Once testing is complete and your product is certified, we add your product to UL Product iQ®, our database of certified Products. This online tool allows potential customers to search for energy efficient products by product category, company name or product name. You may also use the UL Energy Verified Mark certification on marketing materials, packaging and the product itself.

UL Solutions Energy Efficiency Certification program
The Energy Efficiency Certification (EEC) program is a third-party certification program that helps manufacturers demonstrate that their consumer electronics, household appliances, commercial kitchen appliances and many other products meet the requirements of various global regulatory programs. Once a product is tested and complies with the requirements of the EEC program, the manufacturer is provided with the lab data package, energy efficiency certification and the standard marking level.
