Energy efficiency testing
State-of-the-art facility
UL's 16,000 square foot facility houses the latest equipment and is dedicated solely to HVAC/R equipment compliance services including energy efficiency testing.
Energy efficiency requirements
UL evaluates HVAC/R equipment to mandated U.S. Department of Energy requirements, AHRI standards, international standards, or to custom energy efficiency requirements.
Bundled safety testing
UL can perform safety testing on products at the same location energy efficiency testing is performed.
Flexible component testing options
UL can help determine which components optimize the energy efficiency of a product. UL will accept several components from the product manufacturer or component manufacturers. They can be sent directly to UL for comparison testing.
Partnership in research & development
By integrating our facilities and expertise into the manufacturer's business processes, manufacturers can focus their resources on research and product development instead of laboratory testing.
Convenient data tracking
The testing data can be viewed live from a remote location through our online data tracking software.
Expert staff
Our engineers have a wealth of experience in HVAC/R energy efficiency testing and can help our customers in their research and development efforts.
