UL often receives inquiries about how other jurisdictional authorities handle a variety of issues. Sometimes, UL staff have ready answers. Many times, we put the person asking the question in touch with other jurisidictional authorities with firsthand experience in their own jurisdictions.

A directory of current jurisidictional authorities who use our fire certificate service is now available. The directory lists the name, address and phone number of jurisidictional authorities who have agreed to discuss their experiences with other jurisidictional authorities. This valuable resource enables jurisidictional authorities to take advantage of a network of people with similar issues, experiences and motivation.
