intacs®-certified Automotive SPICE® Provisional Assessor v4.0

Gain understanding of the Automotive SPICE® reference model as well as experience with planning, conducting and documenting assessments.

This four-day training, certified under the International Assessor Certification Scheme (intacs®), lays a foundation to become an intacs®-certified Provisional Assessor. The training provides participants with a detailed understanding of the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 model and the corresponding Automotive SPICE® Guidelines. The training expands upon the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 Process Expert training.

Our intacs®-certified Instructors take participants through numerous practical exercises, allowing them to independently apply process improvements to individual topics so they can assess and optimize processes used at their own company.

This training will provide participants with a detailed understanding of the Automotive SPICE® reference model, their first experience with planning, conducting and documenting assessments, and the opportunity to act as a co-assessor in Automotive SPICE® assessments.

Prerequisites

Participants must be intacs®-certified Automotive SPICE® v4.0 Process Experts.

Examination

This training leads to the Automotive SPICE® v4.0 Provisional Assessor exam; we charge an exam fee on behalf of VDA QMC. Participants who pass the exam graduate as an intacs® - certified Automotive SPICE Provisional Assessor.

Further Information

  • To gain certification as an intacs®-certified Automotive SPICE® Provisional Assessor v4.0, participants must successfully pass the exam.
  • Participants can apply for the certification at the VDA QMC after passing the exam. The VDA QMC will charge additional fees for the certification. Participants must register with VDA QMC within one year of successfully passing the exam. VDA QMC charges an additional fee for intacs® registration.
  • For online trainings, all materials are offered digitally. For in-person trainings, all materials are offered digitally.
  • We also provide participants with education software, including a self-assessment module to enable participants to evaluate their level of knowledge and gauge progress.

Cancellation Policy

Contractual cancellation right

The registration can be cancelled free of charge 30 days before the training date, after which the following rules apply: 

  • 30 days – 14 days before the start of the training: 50% of the participation fee
  • 14 days or less before the start of the training: 100% of the participation fee
  • This shall not apply when a substitute attendee is named. This is possible until the registration at the beginning of the event.

The relevant cut-off date for the calculation of the cancellation period is the first training day of a bindingly booked training.

The cancellation must be declared in writing and sent by email to the training provider.

Naming substitutes

The participant may, after receiving the registration confirmation, name a substitute in writing prior to the beginning of the seminar.

This change of reservation is free of charge; seminars spanning several days may be transferred only in their entirety, i.e. attended by one substitute.

Date cancellations and date changes

The training provider has the right to change the location of events and/or specify a different date as a substitute. The training provider also reserves the right to cancel dates for organizational reasons (e.g. number of participants too low, illness of the speaker at short notice).

The training provider will notify the participant of the cancellation and of the reason with-out undue delay and will attempt to change the participant's reservation, provided that he agrees to a different date or event location. Otherwise, the full amount of any already paid attendance fee will be refunded in the case of a cancellation; no further claims exist, particularly no refund of travel and/or accommodation cost.
