UL Solutions Laboratories Approved for ZDHC Testing

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation approved the UL Solutions laboratories in Italy, China, India, and Bangladesh to perform testing chemicals according to ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL) Version 3.1.   

Thanks to this approval, we will support ZDHC’s goal to implement their new MRSL in the global textile and leather value chains. Additionally, UL Solutions will support sustainable chemical management by helping to avoid the use of banned substances during production and manufacturing via the testing and certification process — facilitating the creation of end products that meet the requirements for cleaner outputs.   

UL Solutions can now conduct MRSL Level 1 testing for chemical manufacturers to help them be certified by ZDHC MRSL Level 1 and allow them to enter their information in the Gateway – Chemical Module.
