Xiaomi, a consumer electronics and manufacturing company with a focus on smartphones and smart hardware connected to a platform, achieved the first global Internet of Things (IoT) Security Rating Verification for electric scooters. UL Solutions assessed the critical security aspects of Xiaomi’s Electric Scooter 4 Pro against common attacks and IoT vulnerabilities and gave the scooter a Security Capabilities Verified Gold Rating. Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro, the latest flagship model in Xiaomi’s scooter line-up, features a 350 watt motor.

The UL Verified IoT Device Security Rating Gold level assessment helps demonstrate that Xiaomi has implemented baseline security capabilities for the Electric Scooter 4 Pro. These capabilities include secure updates, connections, data transmission and storage. This gold rating shows that Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro:

UL Verified IoT Device Security Rating
