Who should take IEC 61511 training?
This training class is designed for:
- System engineers who have responsibility for building safety protection systems for risk reduction
- Operators and/or technicians who have responsibilities for taking proof testing on a regular basis
- Plant managers who have the responsibility for maintaining the management of functional safety in operation
- Control and instrumentation engineers, electrical and/or chemical engineers who have responsibilities for delivering safety instrumented systems
- Advisory and consultants who are involved in the safety lifecycle, HAZOP and risk reduction.
Optional UL Certified Functional Safety Professional (UL-CFSP) Exam:
Participants who complete the training are eligible to take a two-hour certification exam. Those who pass the exam are individually certified as a UL Certified Functional Safety Professional in IEC 61511, or UL-CFSP. Results are provided immediately.
