Michal Jasinski is a project engineer at UL Solutions, currently living in Warsaw (Poland).
Michal holds a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Poland). After moving to Warsaw, he completed lighting postgraduate studies at Warsaw University of Science and Technology (Poland).
Michal has 10 years of experience in optical radiation product safety evaluations, with 4 years at UL Solutions. His experience also includes electrical safety evaluations of consumer and lighting products as well as photometric evaluations of lighting products (including CCT, CRI and light distribution measurements).
In his role at UL Solutions, Michal evaluates products to the optical radiation safety standards (mainly IEC 62471, IEC 60825 series and FDA/CDRH 21 CFR). Michal is the first point of contact and support for local European UL Solutions staff with questions related to optical radiation. Michal is also involved in optical radiation services growth in the European region.
In his career, Michal has been a member of the IECEE ETF 5 and an IECEE technical assessor.
