Jennifer Turner brings over 20 years of regulatory expertise to her senior regulatory affairs manager role at UL Solutions. In 2001, Jennifer joined ChemADVISOR, Inc., acquired by UL Solutions in 2017, and quickly became known for her ability to manage complex regulations across Canadian, European and Latin American markets. In 2005, she progressed to a leadership position as a regulatory affairs manager, which enabled her to build and guide a highly skilled team of experts. Jennifer now oversees UL Solutions’ Chemical Regulatory Content team, which strives to provide the most accurate and current chemical regulatory information through the ChemADVISOR ® Regulatory Database, part of the ULTRUS™ software collection. It also manages the phrases, rules and templates required for the ChemADVISOR for SAP® Product Compliance module and the WERCS Studio regulatory content database. Additionally, the team supports other UL Solutions regulatory monitoring and compliance management software offerings, that help organizations navigate challenges such as product stewardship and workplace safety.

Supporting the development of critical regulatory tools
Under Jennifer’s leadership, the ChemADVISOR® database has grown to over 600,000 substances and 8,000 advisory and regulatory lists from more than 130 countries. The Regulatory Content team informs businesses on occupational, environmental, health and safety regulations. Through various UL Solutions products, Jennifer’s team provides timely, customized compliance data, helping companies stay connected to changes, including sustainability-focused areas like environmental, social and governance (ESG) regulations and chemical restrictions. With her guidance, these tools also help businesses turn compliance into an opportunity for greener product development, transform their brand reputation and advance sustainable supply chains. Her team is launching a new alert system where organizations can learn about emerging proposals worldwide, enabling proactive engagement with the chemical governance process.
