With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Katja leads the vision, strategy and execution for UL Solutions’ renewables business. Her global team of engineers, technical advisers and software developers help accelerate renewable power generation, performance and acceptance for a wide range of customers, including energy project developers, financiers and technology suppliers. The team’s solar and wind experts conduct on-the-ground evaluations around the world, in many complex terrains and climates, to support renewable energy project development and help customers inspire confidence in their energy transition projects. Katja also oversees UL Solutions’ customized, location-specific renewable energy forecasting services. This offering helps customers manage grid operations, balance energy contributions from traditional and renewable energy sources, and understand impacts on grid reliability, cost and operation.
