The National Safety Council, a leading nonprofit safety advocate, has included Jennifer Scanlon, UL Solutions president and CEO, on its list of the 2025 CEOs Who “Get It,” recognizing leaders who champion employee safety and well-being on and off the job.

According to a press release from the National Safety Council (NSC), each of the six honorees for 2025 has “built their organization’s safety strategy using four key components: risk reduction, performance measurement, safety management solutions, and leadership and employee engagement.”

Profiles of the honorees appear in the February issue of Safety+Health magazine.

“I want to congratulate and extend my gratitude to these honorees, who are constantly innovating in the realm of workplace safety and inspiring others to do the same,” said Lorraine M. Martin, NSC president and CEO.

The profile of Scanlon highlights numerous notable accomplishments, including the Safety Moment, which has become a cornerstone of her company’s culture. Every significant internal meeting at UL Solutions begins with a Safety Moment — a brief reminder to prioritize safety, both in the workplace and at home.

In her profile, Scanlon shares this powerful saying: “Safety is the ultimate expression of responsibility and respect for fellow colleagues.”

We are so proud of Scanlon, whose leadership keeps UL Solutions employees focused on our mission of working for a safer world.
