New UL Solutions Low Voltage Cable Testing Lab in Abu Dhabi

UL Solutions opened a low voltage cable testing laboratory in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to extend more of our services into the Middle East. This facility has been added to the existing fiber optics laboratory opened in 2020 and fire performance testing laboratories added in 2021.

Customers in the region can now access international markets for wire and cable products through testing and services for:

• Low voltage cable
• Low-smoke halogen-free (LSHF) cables
• Fire resistant cables
• Rubber cables
• Electric vehicle (EV) charging cables

UL Solutions can provide advisory and testing services at this new laboratory to help your business meet safety requirements and comply with required performance and safety standards. In addition, we can provide services to support a Type testing report and Type examination certificate based on International Electrotechnical Commission, European Standards (EN) and/or British Standards.
