UL Mexico CO, in their constant support of manufacturers and importers to reach desired countries, expanded the accreditation scheme for Peru, by the Mexican Entity of Accreditation (EMA) an ILAC member for additional schemes providing more options to manufacturers and importers to comply with the upcoming mandatory certification for energy efficiency on Sept. 1, 2020, according to the approved extension period by the Peruvian authorities due to the COVID-19 pandemic for:
- Household refrigeration equipment
- Household washing machines
- Household tumble dryers
- Air conditioners
