UL and AHFA Announce that Ashley Furniture, Hooker Furniture, Samson Marketing and Sauder Woodworking Have Successfully Completed the New Stability Verified Program, Making Stability Verified Furniture Easier to Identify.

UL has partnered with the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA)  in creating a “Product Stability UL Verified” Mark. This Mark will help consumers identify products with stability marketing claims verified by UL. For participating companies, UL evaluates their in-house stability testing process as well as individual furniture pieces.

The participating AHFA member companies, Ashley Furniture, Hooker Furniture, Samson Marketing and Sauder Woodworking, who served as pilot sites for the program, successfully completed the requirements in September 2018.
