UL Solutions, KPMG Samjong Accounting Corp Collaborate on ESG Efforts in Korea

UL Solutions, a global leader in applied safety science, and Samjong KPMG agreed to cooperate on environmental, social and governance ESG solutions in Korea. The companies hope to pursue mutual interests and promote ESG management. On Sept. 5, 2022, both companies signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during a ceremony at Samjong KPMG in Seoul, South Korea, formalizing the relationship.

With this agreement, the two companies will cooperate to promote ESG solution services to strengthen the company’s ESG management.

“To stay competitive in today’s global marketplace, all companies must address the demands for environmental, social and governance data by investors, stakeholders, regulators, retailers and consumers,” Yun Chung, regional managing director in South Korea for UL Solutions, said. “We are delighted to be collaborating with Samjong KPMG to promote ESG management in South Korea and to help businesses align sustainability management and strategic direction,” he said.
