UL Solutions Warns of Unauthorized UL Marks on HRFR Cables

NORTHBROOK, Il., (JULY 14, 2023) –  The following is a notification from UL Solutions that the HRFR cables identified below bear unauthorized UL Certification Marks. The HRFR cables have not been evaluated by UL Solutions to the appropriate Safety Standards and it is unknown if the HRFR cables comply with any safety requirements. 

Name of Product: Heat Resistant Flame Retardant (HRFR) PVC Insulated Industrial Cables

Remedy: UL Solutions recommends that this product be removed from service.     

Identification on the Packaging: The HRFR cable packaging bears an unauthorized UL Certification Mark and the following:
