UL Solutions Warns of Unauthorized UL Marks on LED Bulbs

NORTHBROOK, Il., (July 28, 2023) –  The following is a notification from UL Solutions that the LED bulbs identified below bear unauthorized UL Certification Marks. The LED bulbs have not been evaluated by UL Solutions to the appropriate Safety Standards and it is unknown if the LED bulbs comply with any safety requirements. 

Name of Product: LED Bulb 15W and LED Bulb 25W

Remedy: UL Solutions recommends that this product be removed from service.     

Identification on the Packaging: The LED bulb packaging bears an unauthorized UL Certification Mark and the following:

Known to be distributed and sold by: Navdeep Electricals in India, may have been sold by other retailers and e-commerce sellers in India.
