NORTHBROOK, Ill., March 16, 2018 – The following is a notification from UL that the fire exit hardware identified below bears an unauthorized UL Certification Mark for the United States and Canada. The fire exit hardware has not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate Standards for Safety and it is unknown if the fire exit hardware complies with any safety requirements.
The unauthorized construction has the word “Logic” stamped into the metal housing.

Location: The fire exit hardware has been found in Saudi Arabia. UL has not received reports of the fire exit hardware in other locations.
Sold at: Known to be sold by Masdar Hardware Company, and may have been sold by other distributors.
