Krefeld, Germany, May 17, 2017 – UL, a global safety science organization, has been approved by Volkswagen AG as a certified laboratory for materials testing. The approval is granted to UL’s Krefeld Performance Materials Testing Lab for numerous test methods, which include environmental, surface, mechanical, burning behavior, media resistance and textile testing for selected interior and exterior parts and components. The VW approval adds to UL’s growing list of automotive clients and testing capabilities.
