Hardware engineering as a process framework automotive SPICE

The intacs® hardware engineering (HWE) plug-in allows you to use Automotive SPICE® as a process framework for developing entire mechatronic systems for use in automobiles. This plug-in provides you with specific development processes for the hardware.

The plug-in concept of Automotive SPICE® allows users to define specific development processes for different engineering tasks. With these processes, the software-oriented Automotive SPICE® model can be augmented towards other domains. The intacs® assessor association developed a plug-in proposal for hardware development which was introduced into the Automotive SPICE® process assessment model (PAM) and is established as part of Automotive SPICE® v4.0.
